Marguerite’s Cakes, which is located in Slidell, Louisiana on the north shore of New Orleans, Louisiana, has been baking quality products for over 30 years.

Marguerite started making cakes from scratch in the kitchen of her home in 1978. In the early 80’s, she was the first baker to put apple filling in her king cakes. Then added cream cheese and the rest is history! Her business grew rapidly by word of mouth. She had to open her first bakery in Kenner, Louisiana. She quickly outgrew that location and moved to Slidell, Louisiana where she is at present.

Her great customer service, friendly atmosphere, and quality products have caused her business to grow tremendously. Marguerite uses only the finest ingredients in her cakes, pies and pastries. Her quality products stand apart from the rest.

Marguerite specializes in King Cakes, Roll Fondent Wedding Cakes, Italian Breads and Cookies, Doberge Cakes, Special Occasion Cakes, Cookie Cakes, Pies, Cheesecakes, Low Sugar Pastries and Whip Cream Cakes.
