Unfortunately, there are rules for everything, and here are ours. Please read through our procedures, as they apply to all shipments. Although we love our neighbors in Alaska & Hawaii, unfortunately we can't guarantee our product will meet our quality standards, and therefore we will not ship to these states. Order Times Orders must be placed the day before ship day by 2:00 p.m. in order for King Cakes to be successfully shipped the next day. WE ONLY SHIP OUT ON MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. We use FedEx for shipping of all king cakes. The usual delivery time is one to two days. If one of our products is damaged in transit, a claim can be made directly to FedEx. If you are not satisfied with your delivered product, please contact us immediately by going to the following link: http://www.margueriteskingcakes.com/contact.htm. Please be sure to include your Name, Phone #, Order #, and a detailed explanation of the issue. One of our Customer Service Representatives will contact you within 1 - 2 business days to seek a resolution. Holiday Delivery During the holidays, which are peak delivery times, deliveries may take one or two additional business days to arrive. This affects the week prior to the following holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day and Father's Day and other peak shipping times. Hotel/Hospital/Dormitory Deliveries Our experience with successful deliveries to these institutions has not been good. Our shippers must deliver to a receiving department. The shipment is then routed to the intended recipient. Deliveries to hotels, hospitals and dormitories are not recommended. Unfortunately, we do not guarantee deliveries to these destinations. Sorry, no refunds will be given if the recipient cannot be located. Wrong Addresses Please ensure that you have entered the correct shipping address. Orders which are sent to the wrong or incomplete address will not be guaranteed. If the package is forwarded to the correct address, additional handling fees charged by the shipping company will apply. Undelivered Packages Once a delivery attempt has been made it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure the package is accepted. We are unable to guarantee delivery if no one is home to accept a package or if the shipping company is unable to deliver a package. Some packages require a signature, while others may be left at the door. Perishables Our cakes are made with fresh ingredients and since food items are perishable, they cannot be returned. |
