About Marguerite Cakes

How it started…

Marguerite started making cakes from scratch in the kitchen of her home in 1978. In the early 80’s, she was the first baker to put apple filling in her king cakes. Then added cream cheese and the rest is history!

Her business grew rapidly by word of mouth, so she quickly opened her first bakery in Kenner. It did not take long for her to outgrow that location, so she moved again. This time she she landed in Slidell, Louisiana where she is at present.

Marguerite’s great customer service, friendly atmosphere, and quality products have caused her business to grow tremendously. She uses only the finest ingredients in her cakes, pies and pastries.

Her quality products stand apart from the rest. Marguerite specializes in King Cakes, Roll Fondant Wedding Cakes, 3D Cakes, Cookies, Doberge Cakes, Special Occasion Cakes, Cookie Cakes, Pies, Cheesecakes, Whip Cream Cakes, Fondant and many more.
